The study
Capacity, distribution and draft risk assessed together.
Challenge
The most premium apartment configuration required uniform cooling across an architecturally complex layout—not simply adequate total cooling capacity.
Method
The transient model included occupancy, lighting, equipment, solar gains, outdoor air and infiltration. Temperature and velocity were reviewed across multiple occupied-zone sections.
Outcome
Cooling capacity and velocities were acceptable. The analysis identified remote zones where diffuser reach and mixing strategy were decisive to comfort quality.
